**Job Summary**
Sterling Publishing is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support foreign rights and export sales.
**What You Do**
Work with Marketing to obtain best materials and timely information for sales presentations
Obtain materials for foreign publishers, seeking approvals, following up on shipping, P.O.s and payment
Responsible for sending samples and incoming sub-rights contractual copies
Update the Rights Sold database
Process orders and check stock of titles
Create newsletters to agents and publishers, updating them on key titles, rights sales, new titles and pertinent publishing news
Create catalogues and sell sheets
Liaise with subagents to approve or draft contracts
Responsible for Diary Management across multiple time zones. Meeting scheduling, preparation and follow up
Schedule and prepare for Book fairs
Conduct research for new clients/editors
Manage unsolicited submissions
To work towards having responsibility for a secondary territory / agent
**Knowledge & Experience**
College degree preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of Sales experience in a trade book publishing environment, with confidence to present to agents/publishers/wider sales team
An understanding of foreign rights and/or export sales
Proven organizational and time management skills with an international outlook
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel required; Vista and Edelweiss desirable
Ability to work independently, calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines, with excellent record-keeping and without compromising on quality
