Corsicana is a city in Navarro County, Texas, United States. It is located on Interstate 45, some 58 mi south of downtown Dallas. The population was 23,770 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Navarro County. 

 

The Corsicana Manufacturing Plant is the proud recipient of the 2019 Environmental Impact award! The plant was built in 1987 and manufactures cups, lids, to-go containers and breakfast trays used in households and restaurants all over the US. We currently have approximately 500 full time employees and we are growing!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Lead Engineering support for Corsicana plant to include plastic extrusion, thermoforming and printing.
• Establishes, coordinates and directs plastic extrusion, thermoforming and off line printing process-improvement initiatives involving new methods, equipment and materials, and defines specification standards accordingly.
• Monitors equipment condition to maintain necessary performance levels with the plant teams.
• Provides technical operations support for extrusion, thermoforming and printing manufacturing problems. Develops and leads process-improvement initiatives to address specific issues as they arise.
• Develops OEE and quality improvement plans with the plant teams to meet Pactiv Evergreen targets.
• Serves as the central conduit for associated information designed to improve quality and productivity.
• Supports materials innovation and savings via internal and external resources in substitution, alternative coatings and processing.
• Collaborates with design and manufacturing to drive engineered scrap and productivity opportunities.
• Coordinates and delivers training methods and capabilities including machinery, process, technique, safety, quality and productivity training.
• Provides “OJT” for tools, techniques and methods as necessary.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of plant experience in technical and management roles - well versed in all facets of plant operations and maintenance with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Required: Technical experience to include process support and working/hands-on knowledge of plastic extrusion processes and thermoforming at large scale
• Demonstrated collaborative ability in dynamic organizational environments.
• ACAD proficiency a plus.
• Strong analytical skills using standard software packages such as Excel and maintenance work order systems to identify opportunities and validate holding improvement gains. 

 

The compensation range is specific to Corsicana TX and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Pactiv Evergreen, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $89,100 - $148,500.
