** Forklift Operator**
**Job Category****:** Plant **Requisition Number****:** FORKL01477 Showing 1 location * Safely operate forklifts or any other power equipment to complete various tasks and projects assigned.
* Ensure inbound and outbound products are accurate and free of damage.
* Efficiently move products from storage to other locations in the warehouse, as well as loading and unloading trucks.
* Follow safety and health procedures including goggles, gloves, and other apparatus required for the safe completion of the job.
* Maintain plant facilities, tools and other items used in the performance of the employees duties.
* Follow the appropriate Hazmat clean-up and disposal procedures and immediately report all spills to supervisor.
* All duties must be performed in a safe and efficient manner. Any unsafe working conditions must be reported to supervisor and corrective actions must be taken before proceeding with job.
* Fabricate, repair and maintain any equipment used in manufacturing processes if requested to do so by superiors.
* High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and/or two to four years related
* Minimum 2 years experience operating a forklift
* Forklift certification required
* Must possess a valid drivers license

**Work Ethic:** Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for own actions. Show a commitment to doing the best job possible.
**Physical Abilities:** Lift and carry up to 100 pounds in various packaging. Tip and move 55 gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds, with the use of a drum dolly.
