**Position Summary:**

The Morristown Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders, and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory. Responsible for the timely and accurate receipt of items ordered and received into the warehouse. This individual will verify that all items are of the correct quantity and quality according to packing lists and place the received inventory in specified areas of the warehouse with the utilization of a forklift or motorized pallet jack. Manages pick ticket orders from warehouse staff and management, and physically pulls inventory from the shelves to ensure accurate delivery of warehouse products. This individual also packs orders including shrink wrapping contents onto pallets. The Morristown Warehouse Material Handler does all of this and more, all while ensuring orders are accurate and records of inventory are kept up-to-date for a smooth flow in warehouse operations.

While performing the duties of this job, the Warehouse Material Handler regularly works near moving mechanical apparatus and is regularly exposed to vibration and moderate to high noise levels. The work environment includes congested and high traffic areas, slippery floors, working alongside forklifts, single pallet jacks, electric walk behind jacks and hand carts. Walking and working is done on concrete flooring, as well as high and precarious places as necessary.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Operate forklift and pallet jack in a safe and responsible manner

* Participate in periodic inventory audits

* Perform operations and safety checks, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguishers

* Records all product, equipment and warehouse damage

* Maintain the cleanliness of aisles by removing any debris from shelves

* Adhere to and fully support all policies, processes, and procedures of the Company

* Ensure that the facility is well maintained and is a safe environment for staff and customers by following safety policies and practices at all time

* Physically inspect product for weight, condition, and quality

* Compare packing lists to whats received and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list

* Tag product with a slot label placed in the correct slot location

* Receive products from vendor deliveries and unload trucks at the loading docks utilizing forklifts and/or pallet jacks

* Update the product inventory count as products are received and added to the inventory

* Package products for return to vendors

* Manage pick ticket orders

* Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements

* Ensure that orders are accurate

* Stage items correctly for delivery, and load delivery vehicles as necessary

* Plan and monitors product storage and dispatch

* Oversee stock replenishment

* Monitor stock control systems and processes specific orders

* Ensure warehouse goals are met

* Maintain a high level of health and safety standards

* Shrink wrap products to pallets, and pack warehouse orders as necessary

* Operate scanners to ensure that the proper order is picked, and inventory is managed accurately

* Perform other general warehouse duties as needed

**Required Skills:**

* Strong attention to detail

* Excellent organizational and time management skills

* Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal

* Ability to work in a team, as well as independently

* Positive attitude

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment

* Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods

* Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft programs

**Physical Requirements:**

* Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance

* Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time; full range of motion

* Wear appropriate safety and personal protective equipment according to the function being performed

**Required Education and Experience:**

* At least five (5) years of experience in a warehouse environment, with prior stocking experience preferred

* Material Equipment certification a plus

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* All candidates will be required to pass a drug screen and background check to be considered for employment

* An understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work

* Forklift/pallet jack certification and a proven ability to operate such equipment safely and responsibly

* SAP & RF Scanners experience strongly preferred
