Sanitation Team Member (7:00 PM - 3:30 AM Shift) **Sanitation Team Member (7:00 PM - 3:30 AM Shift)**
**597 Monterey Pass Rd Monterey Park, CA 91754**
**Position Objective**: We are an innovative protein bar manufacturing Company looking for a Sanitation Team Member. **The shift is from 7:00PM - 3:30AM, with Overtime, and occasional Saturdays.** Under the supervision of the Operations Manager this position is responsible for all cleaning/sanitizing of all equipment used in production and supplies; including the cleaning of offices, restrooms, and break room. Follows all Company safety and GMP guidelines when performing all tasks. May perform other duties as required.
**Responsibilities:**
* Wash, clean, sanitize at equipment in production kitchen and work area in a timely manner, following all SOPs (standard operating procedures)
* Assemble and disassemble machinery when cleaning/sanitizing.
* Maintains building by washing walls, windows, floors, and removing trash
* Clean, sanitize break room and washrooms
* Empty and decontaminate trash containers
* Clean front office area, dust, desks, floors
* Maintains cleaning of exterior of the facility: clearing of weeds and brush
* Uses chemicals to clean and disinfect production equipment and supplies
* Wash and sanitize various utensils and bowls for production
* Operates wet/dry vacuum for cleaning and shampooing carpeted areas
* Washing and drying main production kitchen room floors with squeegee
* Cleans and waxes floors using industrial-size mops and/or machines
* Sweep, clean and maintain area around the premises
* Communicate and follow Food Quality Safety(SQF) and Food Safety Codes for Manufacturing
* Responsible for general facility maintenance: painting/patching walls, change light bulbs, clean drains
**Job Qualifications and Essential Functions:**
* Will perform a wide variety of task principally related to sanitation of production equipment and facility
* Must be able to lift/pull/push/lift/carry up to 50 pounds
* Ability to climb ladders and access roof using all safety protocols
* Knowledge of companys policies, procedures and safety regulations
* Ability to maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
* Ability to stand 100% of the time
* Working knowledge on how to operate, trouble shoot and mechanically maintain commercial extruders, flow wrappers, x-ray machines and mixers through PMs
* Ability to verbally communicate and follow oral and written procedures
* Must provide non-slip resistant shoes
* Food Handlers Certificate
* Communicate and follow YouBar's food safety commitment practice
* Ability to work with shellfish, seafood, crustaceans, soy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, milk, whey without incident.
