Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are seeking a Radiology Technologist. As our new Radiology Technologist, you will perform routine diagnostic procedures for clinical X-ray films. You will perform procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. Your tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • Performs a variety of procedures/studies accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assists in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
  • Prepares and positions patients and equipment is a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Obtains high quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
  • Maintains proactive, effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings patient histories and test results as appropriate.
  • Collaborates and confers with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

  • 2 year or Associated Degree (Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology)
  • ARRT Certification
  • Florida license to practice medical imaging
  • 1 year hospital based experience preferred
  • Current American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
