Account Executive - Military veterans preferred

DataPath, Inc. is seeking an Account Executive.



As a sales and business development account executive, creating and maintaining relationships with Department of Defense and industry partners to provide the best C5ISR solutions and services is key. This individual must be able to work within a team environment as collaboration with internal functions such as engineering and operations is as crucial as working as part of a team with the customer.


Responsibilities:

Identify, qualify, and close opportunities within the assigned customer territories.
Provide reliable and continuous updates throughout the sales process to the team and leadership.
Gather and provide market intelligence and trend analysis on short- and long-term customer requirements and direction.
Represent the company at conferences, tradeshows, and other events where directed.
Manage the customer relationship and deliverables from opportunity identification through contract completion.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree
Strong background with U.S. DoD, preferably with U.S. Army and SOF communities
20+ years of military service and/or SATCOM and Network management experience
Proven background in SATCOM equipment and technical support services.
Active security clearance preferred.
Proven experience leading and managing large government contracts.
Proven experience working within and mentoring a team on large projects.
