Job Summary:
This position contributes to the company's success by assisting the Plant Manager in plant operations during scheduled
shifts.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following:
â?¢ Maintain workflow and plant efficiency by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables;
observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing
cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within
process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
â?¢ Utilizes operational tools to achieve production standards and operational excellence during the shift.
â?¢ Follows up with Plant Manager and Director of Sales and Service during the shift to ensure adequate production
needs for customers.
â?¢ Maintains regular and punctual attendance
â?¢ Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume to keep plant operating to standard.
â?¢ Acts with honesty, integrity and sets a positive example for the shift team.
â?¢ Constantly evaluates production environment and communicates information to manager so that the team can
respond as necessary.
â?¢ Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth
opportunities.
â?¢ Develops positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs
and concerns.
â?¢ Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned.
Summary of Experience
â?¢ Supervisor experience in a retail, restaurant or manufacturing environment (1 year)
â?¢ Experience in a position that required constant interacting with team members and fulfilling production
requirements (6 months â?? 1 year)
â?¢ Experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of 10 or more employees (6
months â?? 1 year)
Basic Qualifications
â?¢ Bilingual is a plus
â?¢ Previous commercial laundry experience a plus
â?¢ Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodat
