Primary Job Description: Responsible for the overall maintenance of all equipment. This includes preventative and reactive maintenance for all production & supporting equipment.
Reports To: Chief Engineer
Detailed Description:
Primary Duties
â?¢ Perform preventative maintenance per schedule and as needed utilizing Company software platform and common industry practices.
â?¢ Install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments.
â?¢ Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in entire plant.
â?¢ Preventative maintenance should be completed on rooftop equipment and equipment located in confined spaces.
â?¢ Responsible for on time startup and shutdown of the facility.
â?¢ Maintain adequate and organized parts inventory and log all inventory items used.
â?¢ Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and what is needed for stock inventory. Communicate same to Chief Engineer.
â?¢ Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines. Must comply with all company safety rules and policies.
â?¢ Organize and maintain and clean the tool room so that it is work friendly and safe.
â?¢ Notify supervisor of any needed parts and/or equipment or problems that cannot be easily repaired.
â?¢ Follow all OSHA and Company safety precautions at all times including but not limited to lock-out tag-out procedures.
Qualifications
â?¢ Strong problem solving and communication skills
â?¢ Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
â?¢ Must have basic hand tools â?? sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, multimeter, etc.
â?¢ Must be able safely and accurately operate stick welding equipment.
â?¢ Ability to safely operate scissor lift.
â?¢ Able to manage multiple tasks and identify priorities based on production needs, and easily adapt to changing situations.
â?¢ Strong teamwork skills- ready and willing to work closely with team members.
