The organization provides a broad scope of products and services through the ownership, development, and operation of cemeteries and funeral homes in multiple states. Customers are able to plan and pre-purchase their burial plot, casket or urn, vault, mausoleum space, and other details connected to a burial.

StoneMor Inc. offers rewarding career opportunities within our Sales Department. We are currently seeking Sales Support to join our team. The Sales Support Position is responsible for assisting the sales department in maintaining a pipeline of prospects for the purpose of exceeding the locations sales budget. Additionally, the Sales Support Position shall be responsible for performing duties as directed by the location Sales Manager and General Manager.

**The Impact You Will make**

* Answer inbound phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person.

* Receive payments from customers and process them according to Company policy.

* Maintain an organized office environment with emphasis on filing, cleanliness and overall appearance of the office.

* Research and provide information on files to sales staff as necessary.

* Make outbound phone calls and send outbound marketing letters to existing customers and new prospects for the purpose of setting appointments.

* Set a minimum of 5 appointments daily for the sales department.

* Research, contact and set appointments with outside organizations such as churches, businesses, retirement homes, assisted living facilities and long-term care facilities for the purpose of StoneMor sponsored education seminars.

* Set one (1) seminar with outside organizations per month.

* Stand funeral services as needed by the Sales Department.

* Additional duties may be assigned from time-to-time by the location Sales Manager and General Manager.

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.

* 1-2 years customer service experience required.

* Telemarketing experience strongly preferred

* Prior experience supporting a sales team in a similar fashion preferred.

* Work is both non-standardized and standardized, involving some variables that may require advice and / or counsel from the Sales Manager. Analytic ability and independent judgment are required to address issues in situations where previously accepted methods have proven inadequate.

* Ability to implement new and effective methods of increasing sales appointments in a competitive environment.

* Ability to set dates and document calls.

* Excellent customer service and communication skills.

* Ability to understand and use computer software that the department uses for appointment-setting and customer phone call documentation

* Ability to effectively and quickly complete tasks and assignments and meet deadlines.

* Must abide by all company policies and keep all employee information confidential.

* Must be well organized.
