We’re looking for: A Research Project Manager, who sits within operations and drives consistent project delivery across all phases of the project lifecycle as well as teams. That person manages timelines and implements MarketCast standard operation procedures and automated tools, often advancing current processes. This will require working closely with research teams, clients, operations team both on- and offshore, field partners, data management centers, freelancers and other external suppliers/partners. Additionally, Research Project Manager will support the offshore ops team by focusing on solutions and collaborative spirit. Research Project Managers are curious about processes and technology, always seeking ways to drive efficiencies and project optimization. They work effectively with others, value and listen to all opinions/ideas as we all as know when to challenge and/or escalate when commercial or client concerns are at risk. Core responsibilities Set?up and manage projects end-to-end spanning from ad?hoc to tracking studies across a range of quantitative methodologies Drive digital transformation in project management and execution Act as an expert to support researchers and other project management/ops team members for methodology, sampling and supplier selection in markets Cover full project management, including not just the research team and the suppliers, but also liaising professionally with clients and taking a key role in status meetings and providing updates on fieldwork, timelines, deliverables, etc Be clear, transparent in making decisions and assertive in negotiating for project successful delivery keeping clients’ satisfaction and commercial discipline balanced Work closely with offshore teams including other PMs Provide full costs and timings for new business proposals or existing projects Drive adherence to MarketCast Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) within the research teams Identify further areas for efficiency and profitability of projects Provide expertise and proactive guidance to be operational efficient Support the wider operations and research teams with any training and implementing of operational initiatives It’ll be helpful if you have: 2 years of experience of project management experience in a market research environment, including project setup, field management and schedule management Bachelor’s degree Experience with multiple methodologies, including online and in?person Excellent knowledge of multiple types of research studies Excellent project management skills, managing the end?to?end project life cycle with multi?market and complex studies Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while sticking to deadlines and achieving a high quality output Ability to work effectively across all levels including senior leadership Experience in managing external suppliers Experience in working with offshore teams such as in India a plus Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence others within areas of responsibility Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and time management Confident approach to getting things done and good negotiation skills Dedicated to quality and responsiveness with a focus on processes and efficiency Ability to champion methodological choices with clients and teammates and identify potential pitfalls in clients’ briefs/requests Benefits and Perks: Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) Company Match Freedom Leave Health & Wellness Events & Benefits Professional & Personal Growth & Learning Opportunities And, more Our Purpose: Fandom connects people with shared passions and builds communities around them. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skill set, and any other factors MarketCast considers relevant to the hiring decision.
