Job Title: Sales Engineer III, OEM FLSA Status: Exempt Department: Marketing and Sales Reports to: Director, OEM Sales and Service Flex Work Eligible! This position qualifies for the Flexible Work Policy. Employees receive 75 work days annually to work remote! The initial amount of days is prorated for the first year based on start date. GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE: The Sales Engineer III. OEM is responsible for increasing Loram's part sales and improving its service level to OEM customers by managing the service parts portfolio for all OEM sold equipment (180+ machines) in alignment with the recommended preventive maintenance templates and activities in Loram's ERP system Service and Maintenance module. Strategic and Functional Partner with Product Management to incorporate product lifecycle into Loram's product vision and strategy. Define the product lifecycle and aftermarket potential for all Loram and LTI products and services. Manage all activities required for creating and maintaining preventive maintenance tasks and spare part templates in the Service and Maintenance module for all Loram sold equipment (180 machines). Define standard part catalogs for all product lines including safety stock for new equipment, annual operating and maintenance spares, and overhaul parts. Delineate between warranty and non-warranty parts to expedite evaluation of warranty claims. Provide direction to Loram subsidiaries including LUK, PTY, Loram do Brasil, and LTI on sellable aftermarket parts, kits, and services for each subsidiary's specific market and customer base. Communicate or publish available upgrades to all subsidiaries via the customer portal, Marketplace. Advise proposal team on tender and contract responses for specifications related to manuals, part books, initial spares, obsolescence management, warranty, technical support, SLA commitments, and other related specs to ensure responses align with Loram's product vision and to maximize the aftermarket potential through the life of the equipment. Operational Excellence Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to develop and commercialize rebuild kits, upgrade kits, and software upgrades for OEM customers. Evaluate new equipment designs, fleet upgrades, project change orders, and service bulletins for potential aftermarket opportunities. Develop the scope of work and content to incorporate into proposals and value propositions. Guide and influence decisions made at project CFTs to ensure that pre-requisites for manuals, Part Books, and other aftermarket/post-delivery project deliverables are met and align with the customer's contract requirements and Loram's aftermarket and product strategy. Create and update an annual Marketplace plan that complements OEM sales plans including other Loram subsidiaries. Ensure Service and Maintenance modules and Marketplace reflect up to date technical content & product changes. BEHAVIOR COMPETENCIES: Values-based Action Oriented Trusting and Transparent Based Communication Problem Solving Adaptability REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate degree in Engineering or related degree Experience: 10+ years of related experience Experience: 10+ years in an Engineering or related discipline 5+ years working with BOM structures, schematics, and related software 5+ years of Excel, ERP/IFS, Word, CAD or related software 5+ years of experience working directly with external and internal customers *12+years equivalent combination of education and experience.
