Sales Support Representative - Military veterans preferred

We are a growing, privately owned sales and marketing company in the Kansas City area, servicing over 5,000 customers nationwide. Currently, we are seeking a collaborative and solution-oriented Sales Support Representative to join our team! This is a full-time, entry-level position. Training will be provided and compensation will be commensurate

Ultimately, we are looking for a friendly and driven Sales Support Representative who likes to venture out of their comfort zone and talk with our clients about our many products and services.

Responsibilities of the Sales Support Representative:

• Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions while closing sales directly with clients' leads
• Handling customer order-related questions, inquiries, and complaints
• Recommends products that will meet customers' needs while making an effort to upsell products and services
• Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Maintaining current knowledge of products offered
• Perform all other related duties as assigned by upper management if needed

Requirements of the Sales Support Representative:

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
• Product knowledge, Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Resolving Conflict, Multi-tasking
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Support company values and standards of integrity
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism
• Must be able to function as part of a team as well as independently
