Be the Compliance Auditor You've Always Aspired to BeYour impactful journey involves:
- Assist Compliance Audit Director and/or Senior Compliance Auditor in audit planning activities.
- Participate in preparing audit programs based upon the defined objectives.
- Execute/record audit procedures in accordance with compliance audit work paper standards.
- Participate in the follow-up process to ensure resolution of audit findings.
- Interpret the relative significance of issues needing resolution and escalate at appropriate time.
- Efficiently plan, manage and audit to minimize resources in audited departments.
- Develop audit program to test current procedures, document audit results, and write draft report of audit findings.
- Audit medical records and billing practices to monitor compliance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications- RN Licensure required.
- Minimum four years of experience with post-acute or acute care preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Knowledge of health care regulations and clinical terminology is required.
- General knowledge of federal healthcare programs and compliance issues in the health care environment.
- Working knowledge of auditing techniques and auditing standards required.
