Be the Compliance Auditor You've Always Aspired to Be
Your impactful journey involves:
  • Assist Compliance Audit Director and/or Senior Compliance Auditor in audit planning activities.
  • Participate in preparing audit programs based upon the defined objectives.
  • Execute/record audit procedures in accordance with compliance audit work paper standards.
  • Participate in the follow-up process to ensure resolution of audit findings.
  • Interpret the relative significance of issues needing resolution and escalate at appropriate time.
  • Efficiently plan, manage and audit to minimize resources in audited departments.
  • Develop audit program to test current procedures, document audit results, and write draft report of audit findings.
  • Audit medical records and billing practices to monitor compliance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications
  • RN Licensure required.
  • Minimum four years of experience with post-acute or acute care preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Knowledge of health care regulations and clinical terminology is required.
  • General knowledge of federal healthcare programs and compliance issues in the health care environment.
  • Working knowledge of auditing techniques and auditing standards required.
