Field Sales Engineer

The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory. This person is to engage with key customers and distribution partners securing design wins incorporating MPS products and services.
Essential Functions:
Contribute to MPS US Revenue growth through direct and in-direct technical sales activities.
Manage existing distribution and non-direct sales channel in the assigned geographic territory.
Develop solid technical understanding of our products and relevant solutions.
Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow MPS business.
Gather customer feedback towards the development of next generation MPS solutions.
Drive the customer requirements internally and manage all levels of follow-up and support ensuring that the customers needs and requirements are exceeded
Work as a team with the assigned FAE and effectively manage this resource to maximize value-add to the customer.
Qualifications:
BSEE with 2+ years power management and analog systems experience.
Ability to interface directly with customers and solve customer problems.
Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self-motivated and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels written and oral.
Oral/written proficiency in English, French and Spanish
Willing to travel up to 50% time
Location:
Barcelona or South of France (Toulouse, Perpignan, Montpellier)
