Job Summary
As part of the Pre-Construction team, the Project Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties. This position requires a highly self-motivated and professional individual, capable of managing their work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create project submittals
Create project comparison sheets
Generate and update additional project paperwork
Utilize project spreadsheets and software to complete task
Check email on a regular and consistent basis, and respond to emails in a timely manner
Conduct internet searches to locate specification sheets on project-specific fixtures, using client/contractor provided part numbers.
Assist the Pre-Construction Manager with daily activities related to all phases of a project lifecycle
Create job folders with in company software
Download files and RFIs to prep for sales team
Qualifications and Skills:
Education and Experience
Proficiency in English
Advanced computer user skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe and internet search programs
High School Diploma required
1 to 3 years of experience in the construction industry a plus

Ability to prepare and modify documents including correspondence, memos and emails
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal skills; must be able to exchange detailed information accurately and concisely with co-workers, clients, and vendors
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and switch priorities quickly and efficiently
Ability to perform standard office tasks - answering phones, filing, copying, faxing, scanning, etc.
Ability to work independently as well as be a positive team member
