The SIA is accountable for monthly and annual sales goals for the assigned territory. How you will do it The primary role is to sell Fire & Life Safety products and services to correct deficiencies found during inspections conducted by Johnson Controls at customer sites with an emphasis on Sprinkler and suppression systems. Quick and efficient quoting of deficiencies will help enable the ongoing protection of our customer’s employees, their assets, and their customers. Inspections will be completed by Inspectors and Technicians. Inspection reports will be produced by the Inspectors and Technicians, noting Fire & Life Safety system components that are not functioning properly (deficient). These inspection reports will be stored on a shared server and sent to SIR team for quoting. SIA will specify, describe, and assign a price for resolution of the deficiencies via a quote or proposal. Development of the quotes will be done in close cooperation with the Service team (Inspectors, Technicians, and Service Managers). SIA will send the deficiency correction quote to customer in a clear and timely manner. SIA will gain commitment from the customer, over the phone and via email, to perform the work and/or purchase the parts as specified. SIA will follow up with the customer until the quote is signed or until the customer states that they will not contract with JCI to perform the deficiency corrections. SIA will log all calls to customers when following up on open quotes. SIA will pass leads to Service Sales Representatives (ESERVs & SSERVs) for more complicated deficiency correction (large projects, site visits required, other factors). Upon being selected for the position, candidates must be able to complete all appropriate training. What we look for Highly organized with the ability to start, pause, and restart projects seamlessly. Follow up skills pursing answers from internal resources, contractors and suppliers. The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills, especially via phone and email. Energetic and positive with strong customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, CRM, and web-based programs. Two years of Inside Sales or Customer Service experience is strongly preferred. Mechanical or Electric field service experience is required. At least 18 years of age. High School diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license required. Regular and consistent attendance. Occasional overtime may be required Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $38,700-$51,700 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
