Detailed Job description: Title:Sr. Proposal ManagerLocation:Remote Duration:Temp for 6 months to start; if all goes well there is the possibility of converting direct after the first 6 months
Position Overview As a Senior Proposal Manager in our team, you'll provide leadership and manage the development of high-profile proposals, in addition to qualification statements, expressions of interest, presentations, and other business development materials. You'll work on multiple assignments in tandem, with overlapping schedules, all in close coordination with business development managers, capture and project managers, subject matter experts, graphic designers, editors, and production team members, to develop winning proposals. This position will require you to be highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and focused on strategic storytelling. You'll need to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment and use tact and diplomacy to overcome challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Lead overall proposal process, starting with kick-off meetings through color reviews, developing win strategies, collaborating on design and graphics, facilitating compliance checks, coordinating production and delivery of final product, and overseeing client interview preparation and coaching the project team
Facilitate and support strategy and pre-positioning sessions (i.e., IFBP and other types of brainstorming sessions)
Professional Requirements We're looking for someone with strong, proven skills in the following areas:
Exceptionally good InDesign and Microsoft
Time and people management
Writing, editing, and document organization
Interpersonal communication
Customer service
Organization, conceptual thinking, and attention to detail
Effective decision-making
Managing, organizing, and prioritizing multiple projects
Preferred Education/Experience
Four-year degree in Marketing, English, Business, Communications, Liberal Arts, or a related field required
Minimum eight years of progressive proposal management experience
AEC industry experience is highly preferred, particularly in the preparation and management of large program management proposals ($500M+) and/or proposals involving alternate project delivery (design-build/public private partnerships)
