A Sales Engineer is responsible for generating quotes in Network Ones sales software, providing material lists, labor descriptions, and researching alternative products and methods. The sales engineer works closely with internal and external technicians and sales departments. The sales engineer will, on occasion, meet with clients to explain technology solutions and recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years experience installing and supporting business-grade technology solutions.
Experience supporting networks, systems, and structured cabling preferred.
High attention to detail critical.
Ability to proof technical solutions and offer recommendations for improvement.
Ability to meet multiple deadlines, work with a team, and remain productive in stressful situations.
Degrees and certifications in computer-related fields preferred.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
ConnectWise Manage and Sell experience a plus.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal, and presentation.
Ability to problem solve utilizing creative thinking and new technologies.
Clean driving record, background check, and drug screen required for employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SALES ENGINEER:
Creation of quotes and change orders
Understand current and new technology trends that are key to our customers.
Ability to manage B2B relationships with vendors and distributors.
Take initiative to learn in-depth technologies, solutions, and products.
Work closely with sales team for accuracy of services and products.
COMPENSATION:
This is a non-exempt hourly position with possible overtime. It is an in-office, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm position. Pay is dependent upon qualifications, experience, and location from $20-$30 per hour.
