Details: Synerfac is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for our client in Virginia Beach, VA. Our client provides on site power integration for large scale centers.The Technical Sales Engineer will use their technical education and work experience to help design, develop and sell our products. The Technical Sales Engineer job is a combination of sales, estimating, engineering and product management, working with engineers, distributors and end users.Responsibilities:* Provide technical solutions to demanding applications.* Generate equipment selection, price estimates, proposals, sales plans, project documentation and continuing technical support to our customers.* Promptly present accurate and thorough submittals.* Punctual with commitments to customers, including timely return of phone calls, e-mails and attention to project issues as they arise.* Propose ideas and find innovative new ways of selling.* Develop and maintain successful customer relationships, both new and existing.* Establish and maintain a superior level of customer satisfaction.* Provide strategic recommendations, pricing and solutions to meet customer needs.* Work with engineering and technical staff to design specific solutions to meet customer requirements.* Coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure quality and on time delivery.* Maintain up-to-date understanding of the market, to include an understanding of the competitive landscape. * Research and evaluate competitive products and market opportunities.* Keep specs current with technology and industry practice to avoid unnecessary job costs.* Coordinate and communicate order status internally and externally as needed.* Perform routine sales duties with minimal supervision.* Provide direction to drafters for drawings.Job RequirementsDetails: - 5+ years of demonstrated work experience that encompasses both engineering and technical sales in a manufacturing environment.- Bachelor's degree (Mechanical Engineer Highly Preferred) - Basic Technical Drawings using AutoCAD and Creo- 5+ years of in Manufacturing/Industrial sales cycle
