Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Proposal Manager, we'll count on you to:
- Support pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies (capture planning)
- Facilitate pursuit teams to develop persuasive proposal and interview materials.
- Develop and manage proposal schedules and confirm compliance.
- Engage the appropriate marketing services resources in pursuit teams.
- Lead quality reviews of proposal and interview materials.
- Facilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitiveness.
- Deconstruct and file proposal and presentation material upon submittal.
- Train and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practices.
- Articulate HDR's capabilities and competitive advantages.

Qualifications •A minimum of 3 years of experience
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesign
•Excellent written and verbal communication skill
•Experience in sales and developing effective win strategie
•Ability to identify and convert highly technical content into simple, consumable visuals in partnership with a graphic artist
•Works cooperatively with diverse teams, regional, department, national, technical managers and project staff
•Committed to quality, improvement and HDR value
•Requires little or no direction in area of specialization
•Must exhibit proficient technical computer skills, advanced knowledge of communication theory and basic layout and design principle
•Good interpersonal and communication skill
•Excellent organizational and customer service skill
•Demonstrates understanding of market and public relation
•Depp knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional service
•An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications •Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
•Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others.
•Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in person.
•Demonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staff.
•Preference given to local candidate
