Job Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates the strategy for the sale of power and data distribution systems and accessories products to large complex strategic accounts. Consults regularly with accounts at an executive level and builds relationships.The Strategic Account Executive coordinates a cross-functional team representing customer relations, engineering, production, and quality to exceed customers' expectations. Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements:•Develops and manages sales strategies to meet or exceed sales and orders goals •Determines and executes priorities and growth opportunities •Travels regularly up to 50% to develop and maintain relationships with customers in order to align on sales strategy and build relationships•Coaches and mentors cross-functional team to achieve sales objectives •Gathers knowledge about competitive environment, market shifts, new product development, market trends, and differentiators that may impact value or performance•Helps position Byrne as the industry expert to our customers•Establishes productive, professional, relationships with all levels in assigned customer accounts•Coordinates the involvement of Byrne resources including support, service, finance, and leadership in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations•Creates and maintains key performance metrics and scorecards for assigned accounts and schedules regular reviews with accounts •Completes strategic sales plans•And other duties as required. Experience and General Skills Required: •Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred •5+ years of experience in a key / large account management role, preferably in a manufactured products industry•Proficiency in Action Selling® or similar sales methodology•Experience interacting directly with customers at an executive level•Strong internal and external personal interaction skills•Excellent verbal and written communication skills•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail•Ability to lead level cross-functional teams•Ability to foster a collaborative environment while keeping team members on task•Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time•Strong work ethic and personal accountabilityPhysical Requirements: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
