**Material Handler Richmond, VA**
Division: Steel Location: Richmond, VA **SUMMARY OF POSITION**
Kinsley is seeking an experienced **Material Handler** to join our growing shop in Richmond, VA. Qualified candidates must have experience with overhead crane, operating a forklift and have a willingness to learn.
**TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
* Operate forklift as needed
* Perform rigging work including jacking and staking
* Load and unload steel from trucks
* Load steel to transfer tables to feed production line
* Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop
Requirements
* Must have experience with overhead crane
* Experience using and operation a forklift is required
* Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors
* Works in compliance with Kinsleys safety policies and procedures
* Must be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as needed
* Basic math skills are required
* Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment
* Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours
* Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
