Electronics Engineer Senior

  • Responsible for developing analog and digital circuitry for R&D of acoustic and vibrational control and measurement systems.
  • Printed circuit board assemblies will be employed in implemented system functions.
    • Responsible for integrating and testing electronic systems, components, or circuits often used in rugged, compact equipment able to be carried on to a submarine.
    • Experience with PCB design, development, and network analysis
    • Proficiency with PCB design software i.e. Eagle / Altium


  • The position will develop, implement, and verify designs of electronic systems, including software/firmware for processing of waveforms received and transmitted via underwater transducers.


  • Responsible for evaluating operational systems and recommending design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions or to improve robustness.
  • The position involves using National Instruments data acquisition devices and LabVIEW software, including graphical user interfaces, to develop and troubleshoot high-precision systems for test vessel tracking and position monitoring.
  • Travel to naval bases and aboard naval ship will be required, up to 20%, including lifting and carrying items up to 40 pounds in weight, working in confined spaces, and climbing vertical ladders.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: MS Engineering
• Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: Experience with signal processing; proficient with the use of LabVIEW software. Experience with regular lab testing and troubleshooting tools such as analyzers, o-scopes, delay generators, etc.
• Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
• Location: On Customer Site
• US Citizenship Required
