ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

Branding Brand Inc., headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA has a work-at-home Engagement Manager position (with the ability to telecommute with appropriate telecommuting systems) to be responsible for engaging with clients to deliver technical solutions to business problems. Specific duties include: (i) discovering and documenting product requirements by working with clients to understand business needs and translating them into technical requirements and development specifications; (ii) performing gap analysis on existing capabilities to recommend technical enhancements that improve user experience and reduce operational costs; (iii) analyzing business requests and challenges associated with various operations in quantitative and qualitative ways and identify mitigation strategies to resolve them; (iv) preparing effective risk mitigation plans to keep project execution activities on track; (v) assuring quality of deliverables by evaluating against guidelines for mobile application best practices; and (vi) developing project plans aligned with software development lifecycle best practices and ensuring artifacts are properly maintained and shared with project stakeholders.

This is a fully remote position and the employee can work from anywhere in the United States.

Must have a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Management, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in a related position.

Must have three (3) years of experience interacting with technical and non-technical teams in an IT/software development environment.

Must have (2) years of project management experience.

Must have any experience with: (i) creating and tracking software project schedules and budgets and ensuring stakeholders are aligned and goals are met; (ii) driving design/UX, engineering, and quality assurance teams to deliver high quality digital products; (iii) project risk management principles and application via risk assessment matrices and registers; (iv) project management tools, such as Smartsheet and JIRA; (v) managing projects using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies; (vi) using the SCRUM framework for managing team deliverables; (vii) analyzing and visualizing data using tools such as Excel or LucidChart for use in reporting to key stakeholder groups; (viii) interacting with various stakeholder groups to gather and document business and technical requirements for software and developing resulting test plans; and (ix) translating technical information to non-technical audiences.
