opportunity **Retail Volunteer Stockbridge**

This is an opportunity to undertake a satisfying and rewarding role. As part of our team of volunteers, you will provide customer support, whilst working in a friendly atmosphere, providing an extremely useful and appreciated service to the Charity. The role includes: welcoming and assisting customers, customer service and sales service, stock control, sorting donations, hanging and ticketing stock and helping to keep the shop clean and tidy.

**About Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland**

Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland is an independent medical charity which improves the quality of life for people in Scotland affected by chest, heart and stroke illness, through medical research, influencing public policy, advice and information, and the provision of support in the community for people who suffer from these illnesses

**Experience Required**

Looking for someone who can work as part of a team, give great customer service and enjoys making a difference.

**Training Details**

All volunteers are supported by their line manager, usually the manager of the shop. Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland will provide all necessary training about shop procedures, which will be carried out under the guidance of the Shop Manager. Formal training will include: online Manual Handling and Gift Aid Training.

**Flexibility & Commitment**

4 hours a week min

**Expenses**

If volunteering all day then 5 can be claimed for lunch. Full transport costs are covered and if driving 45p per mile to CHSS shop and back.
