The Coordinator Supervisor will provide work direction and technical assistance for routine, shutdown, and project activities for the Maintenance Department.  You will work with other departments to ensure safe and efficient execution of the daily maintenance activities. Lead safety meetings with contractors and exemplify CF safety culture and core values. You will Supervise the CF Industries Coordinator Technicians and assigned contractors. You will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and work onsite. This is a safety sensitive position.

Job Description:

Job Summary:

You Will:

  • Work in a safe manner that promotes EHS and Reliability goals of the plant and the company.
  • Participate in Job Safety Analyses and the development of safety action plans.
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in compliance with company standards and all applicable regulatory agencies.
  • Assigns and directs work activities to meet schedule requirements and emergent operational issues.
  • Work with the planning, scheduling, and the maintenance leadership team to develop the 1-week schedule for each craft including list of available craft hours per week for each nested Contractor.
  • Oversee and prioritize emergent work and help coordinate delivery of unplanned materials regarding.
  • Address and resolve personnel issues with an important focus on growth of the team.
  • Train, coach employees to maximize their performance.
  • Work with the Planning Department for Maintenance Process Improvement, assigning the weekly duties to the team.
  • Ensure that work orders are technically completed in the field and in the CMMS.
  • Exercise management over Coordinator Technicians and Contractors while monitoring performance to ensure that Routine, PM’s, and Emergent repairs are performed.
  • Provide technical assistance to the various sections of the maintenance organization.
  • Be able to handle several projects and support activities simultaneously. Support site EHS activities through compliance with all environmental, health and safety procedures, and through active participation in EHS initiatives. 
  • Prepare required reports and maintain records for department KPI reporting requirements.
  • Assist management in the development of departmental procedures.
  • Become familiar with the plant design specifications, drawings and files to ensure accurate, safe, and practical results.

You Have:

  • Minimum H.S. diploma or GED
  • 5 years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing facility.
  • Two (2) years of experience working in Supervision in a chemical/petrochemical industry over one or more of the following crafts:
    • Boilermaking/Pipefitting
    • Welding
    • Industrial Mobile Equipment Operator
    • Project/Construction Supervision
    • Planner: daily activities

  • Knowledge of asset maintenance and maintenance practices.
  • Good general knowledge of PC software applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook and able to utilize computerized maintenance management software.
