My client, a pioneering force in the clean energy sector with a valuation in the billions, is actively seeking a Real Estate Project Manager to join their Real Estate team. The Project Manager will assist in executing a comprehensive real estate strategy that meets current business needs and positions the company for the future including the clean energy transition. Taking an enterprise approach to achieve cost optimization, to promote operational excellence, and to provide a positive customer experiences is critical for success. Planning activities will include engaging stakeholders and leading technical teams to evaluate customer needs, undertake feasibility assessments and perform cost/benefit analysis in support of portfolio optimization and annual capital budgeting.

The Project Manager will lead major new-build and renovation projects in support of the real estate strategy to optimize company-owned facilities, support the workplace of the future and our evolving landscape. Responsibilities include providing project oversight and leadership, executing projects on time and on budget and executive level reporting and presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.

The position requires an energetic, motivated and experienced professional with strong analytical and budgetary skills, excellent written and oral communication, presentation and leadership skills, with demonstrated initiative and commitment to safety, teamwork, and excellence. The Project Manager will act as a champion to support and execute diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, and create and maintain a safe, engaging and inclusive workplace.

- Background in commercial real estate portfolio management and portfolio optimization

- Knowledge of standard real estate leases and familiarity with different forms of construction contracts
- Proven record in project management from inception to completion of Real Estate and Facilities capital projects including interior renovations and new-build constructs

- Familiarity with NYC and NYC Building and Energy Codes as well as the FDNY and other city agency admin and regulatory requirements

- Background partnering with internal stakeholders to understand their current and future business needs and develop initial scoping document, schedule and budget outline

- Minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field
