Job Description: The Industrial Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, along with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs. This position requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate effectively with other team members.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections according to established schedules.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
Utilize PLC knowledge to diagnose and resolve issues with automated systems.
Collaborate with production personnel to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts inventory.
Comply with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Participate in training programs to stay current on industry best practices and technology advancements.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting a plus
Experience with troubleshooting and repairing automated machinery and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
