Description
Job Purpose
Fast-paced, physical work within a supportive team to handle and process customer web orders for large retail art store, along with various other warehouse duties.
Responsibilities
1. Handle all incoming freight from UPS, USPS, FedEx, couriers and various truck lines.
2. Pack and ship all outbound freight for Web orders, store transfer and internal company transfers.
3. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
4. Order and maintain all shipping supplies.
5. Maintain a clean and safe warehouse.
6. Maintain a professional demeanor when relating to superiors, coworkers, customers and shipping companies.
7. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Skills/Competencies
1. Possess interpersonal skills crucial for relating to customers, coworkers, and management.
2. Possess basic arithmetic and computer skills.
3. Demonstrate the ability to learn procedures and follow directions with confidence, cooperation, and flexibility.
4. Must be a self-starter, highly organized, detail oriented with the ability to multitask
5. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills
6. Possess stamina, will be standing all day.
Qualifications
Experience in order fulfillment including shipping, receiving, and knowledge/background of art materials and POS systems a plus.
