Pay Range: $18.00-$26.00/hour
Position Overview
This position will ins tall all types of millwork in various applications. The Millwork Ins tall and Service I will take direction from the field supervisor and will follow manufacturer directions and warranty requirements on all ins talled pro d uc t s.
Essential Job Duties
- Follow ins tru ctions from the field supervisor regarding ins tallation of millwork materials.
- Work with other ins tallers to ins tall millwork pro d uc t s as assigned and trained.
- Follow manufacturer directions and warranty requirements when ins talling pro d uc t s.
- Track time and materials as required for each ins tallation pro ject.
- Ma int ain all equipment in good order and report any malfunctions to field supervisor.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Follow all company policies and pro cedures.
- Pro vide quality customer service.
- Attend all training to lea rn new tech no logy of building materials and ins tallation methods as required by location management.
- Cross-train in other areas to expand k no wledge and expertise .
- Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to pro d uc e error free and damage free results.
- Comply with Company's attendance policy by ma int aining regular and pre dictable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned by field supervisor or location Management.
K no wledge, Skills & Abilities - Minimum education required -High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum experience required -1 year in ins talling millwork pro d uc t s.
- Special skills required -Read and use a measuring tape and other required tools for complete ins tallation.
- Good int erpersonal skills, verbal and written skills, and the ability to pro vide and/or follow detailed ins tru ctions.
- Physical demands include walking through out yar d s, plants, and offices. Regularly lifting 50 pounds and frequently lifting up to 100 pounds. Working from tall heights on ladders or in tight spaces.
- Available for overtime as needed.
