On the Financial Services and Insurance team, we are dedicated to providing top notch implementations to our customers. We focus on deep customer relationships and industry experience to position optimal solutions and maximum value for our customers over their long term relationship with Workday. We hope to bring in another outstanding and dedicated Engagement Manager to support our growing list of new and existing customers.

About the Role

The Sr. Engagement Manager will be an authority on the Workday Deployment Methodology. They will lead/run mid to large deployments and resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. They will also support executive level expectations by providing internal suggestions to management, based on field experience, as to how to potentially enhance the Workday Deployment Methodology.

* Become an authority on Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements.

* Project Manage 3-5 Workday product implementations.

* Demonstrate competency in the Workday product suite in Financials.

* Participate in the sales cycle when requested to gather requirements, formulate delivery approach and develop a proposal/SOW.

* Provide guidance and mentoring to Professional Service resources working on their implementations.

* Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed.

* Work with the client project manager to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframes.

* Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings.

* Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday standard processes.

* Be a liaison for professional services when interacting with sales and/or development.

* Find opportunities to position other service offerings.

* Ensure the client can serve as a reference upon completing their implementation.

* Assist in the transition of the customer from professional services to product support.

* Ensure the project is delivered within the budget outlined in the SOW.

* Present client with change orders in the event they Workday to perform tasks that are outside the scope of the SOW.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Project Management of Financial implementations for larger, more sophisticated organizations
  • Experience Working within the Financial Services, Banking or Insurance Industry
  • 5+ years of Experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar application
  • Working understanding of General Ledger and Financial Reporting
  • Excellent organization, time management, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
Additional Experience Desired:
  • CPA and/or advanced accounting degree
  • Past experience working in an Accounting position
  • In-depth knowledge in 2 of the following areas: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Grant and/or Fund Management, Procurement, Fixed Assets, Projects, Cash/Treasury or Financial Reporting
  • Consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company or systems integrator
  • Proven service industry experience
  • Passion for customer service


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $113,300 USD - $169,900 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $107,600 USD - $189,500 USD
