Expected salary range of $119,700 to $133,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This individual is responsible for supervising operators in the field. This includes enforcing expectations and standards and providing direction and leadership in the field, directing and assisting operators in the performance of their shift routines, monitoring and coaching operators on their performance, conducting plant walkdowns to identify deficiencies, and review operator rounds. NOTE: This is not a site standard organization. For use only where allowed by site technical specifications / license. Position may be utilized to augment staffing at discretion of Operations Director / SOS.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Coordinates and supervises activities in the operations field to carry out directions Complete validations of work order close outs Oversee field activities. Review operator rounds and perform field walkdowns Perform field activity briefs
  • Perform plant walkdowns to identify deficiencies and initiate corrective actions as appropriate.
  • Project work, outage assignments, or duties as assigned to support the site operations


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A four-year technical degree in engineering, engineering technology or related science program and 4 years utility or supervisory experience OR
  • An Associates of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology or related science program or equivalency with 6 years of utility or supervisor experience OR
  • HS Diploma and 8 years of utility or supervisory experience, of which three years must be in a nuclear facility OR
  • Documented training and experience applicable to power generation operating experience while a member of the Nuclear Navy program.
  • Must have completed a positive Leadership Assessment (FLS)
  • Excellent communication sills
  • Excellent problem solving, decision-making and planning skills
  • Basic computer skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous nuclear power plant experience
  • Supervisory Experience
