The Sr. Proposal Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of proposals at Abzena. This position controls and monitors the scope of work and budgeting process and is responsible for generating proposals accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

Manages overall RFP activities, from initial receipt to final submission to the client, to ensure on-time submission
Coordinates the contributions of team members to develop high quality, compliant responses that put Abzena in the best position to win
Leads team alignment calls and strategy discussions to clarify scope of work, gain insights into the business opportunity, and understand key messages
Coordinates the contributions of team members to create high quality responses through the RFP process
Coordinates and support pricing efforts for change orders and other post-award support
Supports in creating and updating budget sheet templates, proposal templates, and other related templates
Provides regular reporting and maintains ongoing communications to senior management
Ensures the final product is compliant with RFP requirements and is produced and delivered with highest quality
Communicates progress, facilitate decision-making, and resolve open decisions, issues, and risks pertaining to RFP responses
Manages Q&A process, including collecting and finalizing questions, analyzing answers and RFP changes, and communicating changes to the
RFP to functional areas
Defines, documents, implements, and continually improves routine,
repeatable, and measurable proposal development processes and tools
Responsible for SalesForce and SharePoint site administration/maintenance
Complies with Abzena's policies and procedures
Communicates effectively with clients, supervisors, colleagues and staff
Participates effectively as a team player in all aspects of Abzena's business
Adheres to quality standards set by regulations and Abzena policies, procedures, and mission
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
Minimum of 5 years of proposal management experience is required
Experience working in a pharmaceutical or CDMO field is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
SharePoint, SalesForce and Adobe Professional
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent command of the English language
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Effective listening and critical thinking skills
Effective problem solving skills with attention to detail
Strong knowledge of Proposal Management
Ability to balance multiple priorities and to work under tight deadlines
while providing consistent and professional service
Accurate and efficient typing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism
Maintain complete confidentiality, possess a professional demeanor, and exercise discretion at all time
