The QTI Group is assisting our client in recruiting to hire multiple **Warehouse Associates** located in the Madison area. This well-established company is a national leader in professional audio, professional video, A/V and lighting sales. The selected candidates for this role will be responsible for the handling and processing of warehouse work orders and maintaining stock in the warehouse. This temp-to-hire position offers a 1st shift schedule of Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, and a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. **Responsibilities:**
* Pack and ship orders to customers efficiently and accurately
* Prepare packages for shipment ensuring the package is cost effective, meets the carrier's requirements and is packaged in a manner that will protect the product during transport
* Enter billing and shipping information into computer
* Complete necessary paperwork for the carrier to accept and handle the shipment
* Invoice the shipment to begin the collection process
* Pack and ship miscellaneous shipments, including freight and vendor returns
* Follow specified procedures for each type of manual shipment
* Assist others in preparing larger orders as necessary
* Stage various shipment types such as freight, air, and international in appropriate areas and schedule pick-ups as needed
* Record daily personal performance statistics
* Load the small package trailers; assist with shipping small package orders as needed
* Assist in other warehouse areas, with inventory, and second counts as needed
* Help research inventory discrepancies
* Perform other duties as required or assigned
**Qualifications:**
* Experience working in shipping or receiving preferred
* Must be able work in a warehouse environment
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to read and understand documents
* Ability to provide accurate work on a consistent basis
* Good interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team
* Ability to demonstrate flexibility in the work environment
* Must be Vaccinated for COVID
