Senior Proposal Manager
Livanta is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to support the Director of Proposals in leading and managing proposal processes and products. This position will be instrumental in helping the department implement new proposal philosophies, processes, and tools while advancing an aggressive pipeline.
The successful candidate will have at least 10 years in government proposals, with at least three years in healthcare government bids in particular and in management positions on a bid. Additionally, the Senior Proposal Manager must have excellent proposal writing skills to supplement the writing staff when necessary, and the ability effectively work with business unit directors, teaming partners, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Senior Proposal Manager Responsibilities: *Lead responses to RFX for new client acquisition and rebids. Includes routine proposal manager duties including "shredding" the RFP, developing bid project plans, managing all volumes, team members (including proposal writers) and color teams to develop a compliant and compelling, on-time proposal *Support the Director of Proposals in new initiatives, including the development of a proposal library (via SharePoint), new proposal tools, and a best-practice bid culture *Recommend enhancements, particularly as products shift to solely electronic submittals *Write/revise content where supplemental writing support is needed (e.g., executive summaries) *Demonstrate a commitment to the proposal profession.

Qualifications and requirements

Senior Proposal Manager Requirements: *10 years of government proposal experience, at least several of those with healthcare bids in particular (not solely healthcare IT) and in a demonstrated management position *Excellent project management, writing, and organizational skills *Critical thinking ability *Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field *APMP-accreditation required *Executive presence with strong interpersonal skills; both a leader and a team player.
