The Senior Brand Manager designs, develops, and implements an effective brand strategy to drive the successful launches of new vaccines in Italy. He/she is responsible for developing a pre-marketing and launch strategy for new vaccines in close collaboration with Head of Marketing and the broader cross-functional team. He/she develops a highly impactful omni-channel campaign, monitors launch timelines and ensures a flawless execution.
The Sr Brand Manager fosters an environment of innovation, challenges the status quo, and seeks insights from the market to fully unleash business opportunities. This role drives innovation to enhance competitive edge.
Responsibilities include:-
- Develop pre-marketing and strategic launch plan in alignment with cross-functional team
- Recognise key opportunities and challenges in the evolving market landscape, develop strategies to maximise unique positioning vs competitors
- Develop and implement an impactful tactical plan in line with CSL Seqirus Italy key strategic priorities aiming to gain market shares
- Develop and implement omnichannel strategy and tactics
- Challenge existing thinking and offer new innovative ideas in a collaborative and collegial manner
- In collaboration with Business Analytics Manager, develop sales forecast and long ranging plans
- In collaboration with Business Analytics Manager plan market research activities in line with strategic objectives
- Knowledge of competitors landscape and pipeline
- Pro-actively capture market and policy changes as well as competitors’ activities defining our strategic response
- Support Geo-expansion, collaborate with HoM in planning for future launches through local distributors
- Deep understanding of the market, of customers’ needs and competitors´ landscape.
- Development of a launch plan incl. key messages in alignment with cross-functional team and global strategy
- Develop the roadmap from registration to sales start, monitoring launch readiness in coordination with Global and local functions involved.
- Together with the cross-functional team builds the brand value proposition.
- Development and implementation of the omni-channel strategy to support a successful pre-marketing and launch of the new brand.
- Timely and accurate execution of all planned activities
- Development of promotional materials to support brand communication in line with customer’s channels and stakeholders.
- Oversee communication activities plan and execution across channels including participation to conferences and congresses.
- Support market access with input on key contents
- Deep understanding of the key clinical papers and the related clinical evidence
- In collaboration with Brand Manager & Head of Marketing lead the external agencies to meet objectives
- Use disease and market understanding to develop customer insights, innovative ideas, and excellent planning to execute commercial strategies.
- Responsible for managing the allocated budget and maximise operational investments
Educations, Skills, and Experience: -
- University degree or higher degree Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Life Sciences or Business/Marketing. MBA a plus.
- At least 5 years professional experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Vaccines field.
- Launch experience required.
- Strong analytic skills

- Team player be able to collaborate with marketing colleagues & cross-functional team
- Fluency in Italian & English
