Position Overview
Receive, stock, ship, order and cou n t in ventory items. This is an entry level position that is responsible for the safe operation of a forklift in order to stock all lumber and build in g materials. Perform duties with in the established work and safety procedures.
Essential Job Duties

- Assist warehouse associates and direct supervisor in ma in ta in in g an organized work environment. May in clude, empty in g trash receptacles, and keep in g all bays and stag in g areas clean and organized.
- Receive in com in g products, commodities and materials.
- Provides Excellent Customer Service
- Cou n t and record receipt of materials.
- Stock all material received in appropriate b in s or storage locations.
- Assist in ventory control in cou n t in g and organiz in g warehouse materials.
- Comply with all company policies and guidel in es.
- Operate forklift with foot and hand controls.
- May use forklift to build outgo in g orders or to load completed orders onto delivery equipment
- Operate facility equipment as necessary ( e.g. bander, power tools, various hand tools).
- Monitor in ventory as required by location management.
- Reta in an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error free and damage free results.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - M in imum education preferred -High school diploma or GED.
- No experience required . Will tra in .
- Ability to do basic math, read orders, write in s t ructions and complete forms.
- Ability/will in gness to learn to read a tape measure.
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors us in g verbal and written skills .
- Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems.
- Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies ( e.g. Smartphone, In ventory Control Systems, and other necessary bus in ess applications).
- Physical demands in clude stand in g and walk in g for extended periods of time, exposure to extreme temperatures, bend in g or stoop in g, regularly lift in g up to 50 pounds and frequently up to 100 pounds or more.
