Looking for a new and exciting career opportunity? Coach USA/Megabus has rewarding career opportunities for Fleet Parts Manager at our Waukesha, WI location. Under the supervision of the maintenance manager, the parts manager is responsible for maintaining the stock of replacement parts. Their duties include inventory control, sourcing parts to minimize downtime in a cost effective, safe, timely manner and customer service.

Responsibilities: 
  • Checks and compares prices to purchase parts from contract vendors.
  • Maintains a complete inventory of parts and supplies to support a fast place maintenance shop.
  • Works closely with mechanics to ensure correct parts are ordered in a timely fashion.
  • Becomes proficient in our industry specific systems and software.
  • Creates purchase orders for purchases, receives parts in, prepare paperwork to be forwarded off to accounting dept. for payment in a timely fashion.
  • Handles the processing and tracking of part returns, core returns, and warranty claims as required.
  • Issues parts and monitors the distribution of parts to technicians and document their usage for specific jobs.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with vendors.
  • Conducts monthly parts audits.
  • Possess or obtain certification (we will train) for the safe operation of a forklift.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and well organized and accurate parts department.
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of parts.
  • Ability to maintain proper parts inventory levels.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to utilize computers for inventory, record keeping, parts information, etc.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver’s license required.
 Skills and Knowledge required:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to forecast.
  • Ability to identify and locate parts and supplies.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in a shop environment.
