We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Camunda 8 Administrator to join our Automation Team. This is a Remote position however the candidate must be in United States.

As a Senior Camunda 8 Administrator, you will engage in all facets of the application lifecycle management, which encompasses assessing, configuring, managing, documenting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting Camunda 8 environments for our clients. In a collaborative team setting, you will follow guidance from solution architects and leads on administration tasks, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security of the Camunda BPM platform. Your role involves direct interaction with client environments, providing expert-level support and insight to streamline workflows and enhance business processes through efficient Camunda 8 management.

  • A Camunda 8 Administrator is responsible for installing, configuring, and administrating the Camunda BPM (Business Process Management) platform.
  • They ensure the smooth operation of Camunda applications, handle system monitoring and performance optimization, and provide technical support to users.
  • They collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement Camunda-based solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Installed, and configured Camunda 8 on AWS infrastructure
  • Elasticsearch index lifecycle management experience is a must have.
  • Experience AWS EKS and containerizing Camunda 8.
  • Experience with Securing Camunda 8 using Keycloak and external IDPs like Forgerock/Okta
  • Monitor the performance and health of the Camunda infrastructure, including application servers (EKS, databases, Elasticsearch)
  • Experienced in 
  • Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and ensure data integrity and security within the Camunda environment.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy and test Camunda-based solutions in various environments, including development, testing, and production.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides, configuration manuals, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing their queries and issues related to Camunda applications and processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest releases, features, and best practices of the Camunda BPM platform and recommend upgrades or enhancements as needed.

 

  • 2+ years Proven experience as a Camunda Administrator or similar role, working with Camunda BPM platform version 8.
  • Strong knowledge of Camunda BPM platform architecture, installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Experience in designing and implementing process models, workflows, decision tables, and forms using Camunda Modeler or similar tools.
  • Proficiency with Teraform, Helm charts
  • Experience in performance monitoring, tuning, and optimizing Camunda applications and infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues in Camunda applications, workflows, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures for Camunda infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Camunda certification or training is desirable but not mandatory

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974 to $149,880. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
