General ResponsibilitiesProvide ongoing mental health services to adult and child clients, families, couples and groups.Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.Essential FunctionsConduct phone therapy, video telehealth and face-to-face sessions with clients to complete IMCANS assessments in accordance with State of Illinois and policies and procedures of the Agency.Provide ongoing mental health services to adult and child clients, families, couples and groups.Maintain case records and reports according to the policies of the Agency.Participate in case consultations and reviews with the personnel of other programs of the Agency or with outside professionals.Participate in development and planning activities of the Counseling Program.Conduct clinical assessments (including occasional crisis intervention) and make appropriate recommendations for persons seeking mental health services.Ability to meet monthly productivity target and standards for timely completion of clinical documentation.Great Employer Provided BenefitsTime-off: 14 Holidays - 15 Vacation days - 3 PTO days and 9 Sick daysMedical/Dental/Vision Health InsurancesFlexible Spending AccountShort-term Disability InsuranceLong-Term Disability Insurance (employee paid optional)Life and AD&D Insurance403B Retirement Plan with employer contributionsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) Requirements Master's degree in social work (MSW) or a related field as approved by funder rules is preferred for this position. All degrees must come from a regionally accredited educational institution which has U.S. Department of Education approval.One (1) year of clinical training or Internship experience in a community mental health outpatient setting, school or hospital environment is required.Work towards licensure in Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or related credential as recognized by funder rules recommended, as soon as eligible.Bilingual Spanish skills is preferred but not required. Must successfully pass a bilingual assessment for this distinction.Training and experience in providing clinical assessments (including crisis intervention) and in outpatient psychotherapy with a diverse range of clientele.Demonstrated competence in providing culturally sensitive interventions to individuals from all racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups.Strong organizational skills required, as well as the ability to coordinate and manage several tasks simultaneously.Interest and skill in networking and providing community outreach services.Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Teams.Passage of complete background clearance and any other required testing or clearances.
