The Warehouse Associate I will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Coordinator, and Shipping team in order to achieve defined departmental goals of on time delivery, quality, lean 6s, safety, and employee satisfaction. The Warehouse Associate I will be responsible to ensure all shipments are completed daily including picking, packing, and auditing all sales orders, completing BOLs, loading of outbound shipments , receiving, and material handling functions

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Reports to: Warehouse Coordinator **Major Responsibilities:**

* Perform required daily inspections of powered equipment.

* Is able to perform in 1-2 warehouse areas with a basic understanding

* Apply First-In-First-Out method to all orders.

* Communicate to Coordinator or Supervisor any discrepancies

* Properly load and unload trucks as required

* Complete daily 6S audits of assigned areas

* Maintain a safe and clean work environment

* Additional duties as assigned by Management

* Follow all registered customer specific DPW and SPW instructions

* Ensures Efficient / Effective Material Flow

* Processes Accurate Inventory System Transactions

* Knowledge of Warehouse Logistics SOP's Used

* Effectively Supports Production and other internal customers

* Ability to Mentor Warehouse I & II Associates in Process

* Maintain area at a 6S standard

* Requires Minimal Oversight

* Trained/Understands basic Lean Concepts

* Be proficient in 5 core functions below

**Job Requirements:**

The position will work in the support of and under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor and must be capable of performing in a responsible and efficient manner the techniques and tasks that are assigned.

The associate Must:

- use all required equipment.

- Have 1 year experience in warehouse operations, handheld scanning equipment, domestic

LTL and TL shipping, export shipping requirements, and basic inventory skills

- Be familiar with Forklifts and Reach truck operations

- Be familiar with handheld barcode scanning equipment

- Be familiar with the use of MS Word, Excel, and Personal Computer operation on a

beginner level.

- Be familiar with the use of picking tickets, packing slips, BOL, and Export Documents
