**Job Title:** Warehouse Forklift Driver
**Reports to:** Supply Manager
**Position Type:** Full or Part-time
**FLSA Status:** Non-exempt
**Job Description**
The forklift driver is responsible to properly expedite all merchandise thru the warehouse from dock to put away and onto slot location. They will do this by utilizing high reach forklift, pallet jack and RF gun devices.
**Duties:**
Replenishing reserves and pick slot to satisfy daily picks utilizing RF gun.
Must be familiar with warehouse management systems and requirements.
Assist with breakdown of product to ensure correct Ti-Hi of each pallet.
Control rotation of product using FIFO method.
Assist in receiving of product as necessary depending on workload.
Practice good organization and housekeeping practices.
Follow sanitation and proper food handling procedures.
Must be safety / security conscious, adhere to guidelines in the safety manual and report any accidents or incidents to the manager immediately.
**Skills / Qualifications**
A solid understanding of warehouse distribution procedures processes. The person will on occasion operate various types of warehouse equipment such as stand-up forklifts, riding pallet jack, hand carts, and cardboard bailing machine. The ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs. consistently and stand for long periods of time is required. The candidate will also be required to perform in other areas as needed. Must have the ability to multitask, plan, and forecast production requirements.
Read, speak, and write English clearly. Being self-motivated and having strong attention to detail are essential traits. Must be available for possible rotating shifts (including nights and weekends) and holidays.
**Physical Requirements:**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and hear. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Environmental conditions include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor exposure from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
