Reports To: Leasing and Marketing Manager

Summary

The Leasing Associate is responsible for maintaining contact with prospective residents, touring, closing sales, performing daily outreach, and completing other general office tasks. The ideal candidate will be sales minded, goal orientated, and able to communicate with others effectively.

What You'll Do:

  • Greet prospective residents, determine their needs and preferences; Present the property, its features, amenities, and benefits, in a professional manner.
  • Conduct all functions necessary to close sales, including completing guest card information, conducting property tours, following up with all assigned leads, and completing follow-up lead information in property management software in compliance with Trinitas policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the marketing and outreach efforts to local businesses, campus events, campus organizations or groups, and local events during and after business hours as required. Maintain conversations + deliver a high level of customer service in every interaction.
  • Establish a positive rapport while providing excellent customer service to all current and prospective residents, guests and other customers.
  • Assist manager with resident relations and enforce all community rules and regulations.
  • Participate fully in the preparation, administration, and execution of all Move-Ins and Move-Outs.
  • Execute the Trinitas Leasing Process while adhering to all Trinitas policies and Fair Housing Laws and standards.
  • Uphold Trinitas Core Values - Develop with Purpose & Passion, Act with Extreme Ownership, and Do The Right Thing
  • Other tasks as required.
Who You Are:
  • Highschool Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficient in Entrata and Microsoft suite is preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service and sales is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in the Student Housing Industry is preferred.
  • Outgoing, charismatic, and ability to engage in conversation easily/effectively
  • Sales minded and goal orientated.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing conflicting demands on times.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor exposure to the elements when giving tours, performing outreach, etc.
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week; weekend availability at least once a month.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk on varying types of ground and for varying distances when required.
  • Ability to climb stairs, occasionally.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds, occasionally.
