What Your Day Will Look Like:

We are looking for a driven individual, with a focus on high-quality proposal production, to join our creative, deadline-crushing team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about persuasive writing, delights in crafting graphics that convey technical information simply, and collaborates effectively with others to produce winning results.

What You'll Do:
  • Execute marketing efforts on large, complex, and/or strategic pursuits
  • Provide hands-on execution of proposal responses on an as-needed basis
  • Manage preparation and draft content of proposals and SOQs; assist and/or coach technical staff for presentations and interviews
  • Lead and maintain pursuit capture plans; work closely with technical staff to drive early pre-positioning and pursuit readiness efforts
  • Interview technical team for project content and stories
  • Facilitate and lead storyboarding/proposal strategy planning meetings and development of proposal strategy and winning themes
  • Verify complex technical solutions, strategies, and themes are easily understandable, readable, and compelling
  • Manage proposal schedules and keep internal staff and subconsultants on task reviews; organize and edit written documentation to improve clarity
  • Supervise, coach, influence, train, and develop high-performing marketing coordinators
  • Oversee maintenance and assist in the upgrade/update of proposal materials (resumes, project descriptions, etc.)
  • Recommend, prepare, and coordinate awards competition entries
  • Collaborate with business development team to initiate, develop, and manage contact with current clients
  • Collaborate with marketing team to improve standard materials and make continual improvements to marketing and proposal process
  • Provide support to BD activities (capture planning, client feedback, CRM, etc.)
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field
  • 8+ years A/E/C marketing experience
  • CPSM certification a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe CC, MS Office, Deltek Vision

A/E/C industry knowledge of:

  • Advanced marketing practices, proposal management, and business development principles
  • Terminology, procedures, and delivery methods
  • Marketing/CRM databases
  • Current trends and industry events
