Job Title: Systems and Cloud Support Engineer

Job Description:
As a Systems and Cloud Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, security, and reliability of both Windows and Linux systems, as well as supporting cloud environments
Key Security Requirements
Resources must be in USA, must be USA Citizens, and must already have or capable of obtaining a US government security clearance (CJIS is mandatory; DOD / IT-2 are good to have)
Resources must pass annual criminal and financial background screening, as well as annual drug tests.
Shift Requirements:
Willingness to work on rotational shifts roster that has 24/7 coverage.
Key Technologies / Tools
Windows & Linux System Administration, VMWare, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure
Experience working with Telemetry & Monitoring Tools, Ticketing systems, Notification tools.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive support for maintaining Windows and Linux systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Ability to troubleshoot Windows infrastructure-related problems and diagnose basic technical issues.
Collaborate on implementing system upgrades, patches, and configurations to keep systems up-to-date and secure
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system functionality, performance, or security, ensuring timely assistance to end-users
Assist in leveraging VMWare and other virtualization technologies to create and manage virtualized environments
Support the optimization of virtual infrastructure for enhanced performance, scalability, and resource utilization
Contribute to the deployment and management of containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker
Maintenance of container orchestration solutions to streamline deployment and management processes
Work on Customer Reported Incidents, explaining customer responsibilities, communicating the next steps and status, and inspiring confidence through clear communication and proactive support
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems within specified timelines with minimal guidance and review.
Well-versed in Incident Management, Troubleshooting, and Bridge Handling
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a basic understanding of SQL and Azure Infrastructure Environment
