Location: Nashville, TN, 37217

Job Type: Full-time, 3x12 Friday-Sunday with overtime expected

Job Summary:

The Quality Supervisor oversees the quality process for NWI Nashville LLC, a manufacturer of complex aerostructure components for commercial, business, and military aircraft worldwide. The Quality Supervisor ensures compliance with regulatory, internal, and customer AS9100D & NADCAP compliance programs to ensure the quality of all products and components are met.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that quality, schedule, cost, and safety goals are achieved in a manner that meets the company's goals
Review, analyze, and report on quality discrepancies and data related to production
Take corrective action on potential and actual safety issues
Enforce compliance with quality requirements
Assist with solving problems and the implementation of corrective action
Lead efforts to improve cost quality, schedule, and safety performance
Monitor safety conditions and practices in assigned area
Lead 5S and FOD initiatives
Train employees, interpret work plans, and develop work schedules to make assignments
Monitor workflow and employee performance
Report group performance to others in management
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 4 years related experience or associate degree with 8 years related experience or 12 years of related experience
Supervisory experience in a manufacturing, production, or fabrication environment is required
Aerospace/Aircraft manufacturing industry experience preferred with Airbus and Gulfstream program knowledge a plus
AS9100 system knowledge with experience in Quality inspection is ideal
Strong computer skills with MS Office is required
Previous experience with MRP/ERP systems such as SAP, EPICOR, etc helpful
Six Sigma and lean manufacturing experience is a plus
Experience working within a Union environment is a plus
Experience with pyrometry is a plus
