The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the care of a patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the NH Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques, and both clinical and administrative policies
Situated in Portsmouth, NH, is a premier 234-bed acute care facility that offers exceptional healthcare services to the Seacoast region of Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire. This hospital is the sole ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center on the Seacoast of New Hampshire, making it an essential resource for the community. It boasts the region's only comprehensive heart and vascular program, along with 24/7 comprehensive neurosurgical and stroke clot retrieval programs for both hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes. Portsmouth Regional Hospital is owned by HCA Healthcare, a respected healthcare provider that runs three hospitals, an ambulatory surgery center, two freestanding emergency rooms, an urgent care center, and 46 physician practices in New Hampshire.
