At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Property Administrator supports and manages the responsibilities of the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects. Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities.

  • Performs clerical and manual tasks to maintain an inventory of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Receive, barcode, inventory and disposition assigned equipment.
  • Update tracking/management database with asset information
  • Move equipment between facilities via pallet jack or pushcart.
  • Maintain consumable stock levels - complete equipment reorders as required.
  • Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance and/or repair activities.
  • Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory, and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Hands-on logistics analyst and technician to be part of a team of Property Administration professionals focused on supporting the customer's mission at the largest site in the customer's enterprise.
  • Ready for full days, fast pace, and a variety of skill sets used throughout the week.
  • Perform the full spectrum of duties associated with shipping/receiving, inter-plant transfers, barcode assignments and database maintenance.
  • Able to account for annual inventory of thousands of accountable items, working with security and government logistics managers for disposition.
  • Assist other work centers to identify and satisfy their logistics requirements.
  • Attention to detail and ability to track multiple logistics tasking through established and evolving policy a must.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Additional Job Description
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and load equipment/material weighing up to 50 pounds, onto shelves, pallets, and box trucks for transport. Regularly required to stand, walk, and occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must be able to access IT equipment in and around office furniture, as part of annual inventory is required.
  • Perform both manual labors associated with (among other duties) palletizing/de-palletizing equipment plus above average skills with office computers and applications.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Required Experience: 2 + years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: Must have MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills. Proficient in creating, modifying, and organizing spreadsheets with large line items.
• Security Clearance Level: Must hold a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Location: On Customer Site
• US Citizenship Required
