About the Job:

BUILD YOUR OWN SCHEDULE! Extremely flexible hours!

Services will be provided to VNA patients who are part of VNA's Pearl Manor Grant (“Qualifying Patients”). The estimated number of Qualifying Patients to be served is approximately 90 patients residing in Manchester, NH; VNA solely determines and identifies the Qualifying Patients.

The individual in this position will provide educational support and clinical expertise to respiratory clients and ensure compliance with regulatory issues related to respiratory services.

What You’ll Do:

  • Performs an initial assessment for each Qualified Patient within a two (2) week period of referral to VNA with a physician order and up to two (2) additional visits (expected: two (2) in-home visits and one (1) virtual visit for each patient.) Virtual visits will be performed to assess the use of nebulizers and inhaler if unable to safely assess in the home.

  • Provides documentation of all visits, phone interactions, and orders to VNA in the form of a weekly invoice. Paper medical records in a format designated by VNA will be utilized for the provision of Services.

  • Provides instruction to patients/caregivers regarding care, treatment plans, respiratory equipment and CPR as required.

  • Evaluates processes related to respiratory services and ensures conformance to organization policy and procedures and governmental regulations.

  • Provides information to and makes sales calls to physicians, the community, clients, payors and hospital staff regarding respiratory services.

Who You Are:

Education: Graduate from a one (1) or two (2) year accredited respiratory care program and passed CRTT or RRT exam.
Experience: Two (2) years of home medical equipment and ventilator experience strongly preferred.
Certification/Licensure: National Board of Respiratory Care CRT or RRT; current State of New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner License. BCLS certification required within 90 days from the date of hire and maintain during employment.
???????Schedule: Generally, Monday through Friday, day shift, on-call weeknights, weekends and holidays.
Other: Valid Driver's License required to travel throughout New Hampshire to provide home health services and other job-related activities
